Ron's surgery took an extra hour. The surgeon kept him on the ventillator an extra 48 hours because his lungs continue to collect fluid. Sue has been going home to sleep at night while Ron remained in ICU. Sue says his color has improved. Will continue to update on Ron as I receive information.
Verla (our half-sister) and David, her husband, stopped by during their whirlwind vacation in Indiana to attend a reunion. They had supper with Sue and I in the hospital dining room on Tuesday DURING Ron's surgery.
